Center for Women Empowerment and Gender Equality

FSCWEO has established Center for Women Empowerment and Gender Equality in 2020 to deliver capacity building services for women and girls through different capacity building approaches including, community mobilization, awareness campaign, volunteerism, legal and psychosocial counselling and livelihood projects.

Apart from above services, in November 2020, FSCWEO established its Legal Aid Consultation Center to provide legal and psychosocial counselling for free. The goal of this center was to protect women right and pave the way to have access to justice. The center was specifically working on family law in Farah province.

FSCWEO will try its best to keep the balance up to 50% female participation in society even more than this, but it will be soon to reach in the mentioned percentage therefore we still need to work for both male and female to stable gender balance through gender equality and mainstreaming. We will ensure the great balance of female participation by strengthening the existing policy and procedures in district governor's offices.
